Small Business Inventory Control 3.5 has all the standard features you expect from an inventory tracking package. This includes the following:
* Vendor Information - Keep track of your vendor contacts, locations, addresses, phone numbers, fax, etc. The software automatically assigns unique vendor IDs and also allows you to input your own vendor numbers.
* Item Information - Track quantity stocked, currently ordered, cost, selling price, vendor, reorder level, reorder quantity, etc. The software will use this information to aid you in you inventory decision making.
* Purchase Orders -This software tracks the details associated with each order. This includes the vendor information, date ordered, quantity, etc. When an order is received, input the receive date, confirm the cost and quantity received. Also provided is the ability to mark orders as backorders if the full quantity was not received.
* Invoices - Keep track of all your sales invoice information. Print invoices an track customer payments toward invoice balances
* Reports - We have preset reports for the the most common tasks. This includes looking up sales to customers, checking customer balances, inventory summaries, and more.
The entire interface has been designed to be easy to use by those with little computer experience. It has an Explorer-like feel, with all the major inventory categories labeled as folders on the left. Dialog boxes are all intuitive and give explanations of expected input. Right-click popup menus allow for quick navigation for the more experienced user, while the toolbars offer a quick alternative for beginners. Managers help keep your data organized, with new managers for Purchase Orders, Customer Payments, and Invoices. These offer quick and intuitive areas to manage your data.
Small Business Inventory Control 3.5 gives you the power to create your own custom inventory statistics. The software aids you in creating formulas which you can apply to each inventory record, or in some cases, the inventory as a whole. NEW! Wizard is now available to help you in creating your statistics. The wizard guides you through the process prompting you for the necessary information.Once you create a statistic, they stay resident, and you can easily view their current values at any time you choose. You can also include them in reports.
Queries are another power tool offered. You can associate a query to any of the previously mentioned folders on the left. Simple give the query definition a name and it is resident under the folder until you decide to delete it. You could create a query to only show you items you receive from a specific vendor, or you could view only your backorders, etc. You could even choose to view your ten most expensive products that you receive from a specific vendor, which currently have no orders pending, if you so desire. You have the power to see only the records you care about seeing, and its only a click away.
The most powerful feature in SBIC is its reporting capabilities. With Custom Reports, you can include a list of records, applied to any named queries, and also use any named statistics. Reports are completely customizable, giving you choices on all fonts, headings , titles, and many other options. Reports, like queries, are placed under their corresponding folder on the left for easy access. Reports are dynamic in the fact that you create the template for the report, and any time you view the reports, it always has the latest up to date information. NEW! All of the toolbars are designed to be docked to any part of the main window you choose. All titles in the inventory lists can be modified to display text which makes sense in you line of business. Columns can be toggled on or off. Colors for certain events can be modified.
